We refer to our prospectus regarding the Africa AirBadminton Championships 2025, a BWF-sanctioned qualifier for the AirBadminton World Cup, scheduled to take place from 3rd to 6th July 2025 in Accra, Ghana.
Please be advised of the following important updates to the Prospectus:
1. Venue Change
The Championships will now be held at Laboma Beach, Accra, instead of the previously announced Borteyman Sports Complex. The change aligns with the outdoor and experiential nature of AirBadminton and offers a vibrant, coastal environment ideal for both competition and public engagement.
2. Hotel Update
A revised list of official accommodation options has been provided by the Local Organizing Committee. We are pleased to confirm the availability of triple room options for participating teams upon request and subject to availability.

URGENT ACTION REQUIRED – ACCOMMODATION BOOKINGS:
We remind all participating teams that the deadline for submission of accommodation booking forms was Friday, 6th June 2025. For those who have not yet submitted, we strongly urge you to complete the process at the earliest opportunity by contacting the Local Organizing Committee and copying the BCA at r.rochdy@badmintonafrica.com.
GRANT SUPPORT FOR ACCOMMODATION
Should your team wish to partially or fully utilize your BCA Development Grant to cover accommodation expenses in Ghana, please notify us by email r.rochdy@badmintonafrica.com. No later than Monday, 15th June 2025.
