The Junior Continental Championships for the Under 19

The winner of the Mixed Team and Individuals Events are declared as Junior African Champions respectively.

  • First edition was held in Zambia in 1993.
  • Is held every two years except the year of the African Youth Games

The most successful countries are South Africa, Nigeria and Mauritius but since the last four years, countries like Algeria, Egypt, Zambia, Ghana and Uganda are having encouraging results.
