Following a decision of the BCA Council, we have the pleasure to inform you that the BCA Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2024 will be held face to face, alongside the BWF AGM on Thursday 25th April 2024 in Chengdu, China from 0900hrs – 1300hrs.
In accordance with our Constitution, Clause 9.2, find attached the Notice of the AGM.
Please note that the deadline to send any proposals and seconding is on Thursday 29th February 2024 11:59 (Mauritius Time GMT + 4).

The BCA AGM 2023 will be held face to face alongside the BWF AGM in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia on the 25 May 2023, as per Clause 9.2 of the BCA Constitution.

Following a decision of the BCA Council, we have the pleasure to inform you that the BCA Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2022 will be held physically on Saturday 25 June 2022 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The exact time and venue will be announced at a later date. In accordance with our Constitution, find attached the Notice of the AGM.
Please note that the deadline to send any proposals and seconding is on Friday 29 April 2022 at 23:59pm (Mauritius Time GMT + 4).
As you are aware, the BWF recently decided to organise a ‘hybrid’ meeting in Thailand. This means that some delegates will be in Bangkok while others will be following the meeting online in their own countries. Unfortunately, due to our Constitution requirements, especially with regards to the timelines, we are unable to organise our AGM alongside the BWF AGM like we usually do. After careful consideration and despite BCA’s limited funding, we have decided to host a face-to-face AGM instead of a virtual one on 25 June 2022.
To efficiently prepare the meeting and to stay within budget, we would request the full support and collaboration of all members and delegates. We will provide further information on BCA support and the other conditions in due course.

For the second consecutive year, the Annual General Meeting will be held in a virtual way due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The 2021 AGM will also be an elective one as the present Council term will be coming to an end.

Based on the exceptional circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the BCA will be organising its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 19 December 2020 at 1400 hours (Mauritius Time GMT+4) on the internet.
This was a decision taken by the BCA membership and Council due to the several restrictions currently in place in almost all African countries.
