STRATEGIC PLAN

The BCA Strategic Plan is developed and approved by Council every four years. The Strategic Plan guides the confederation to effectively set priorities and objectives in line with the vision and mission of the BCA.

The Strategic Plan (2022 – 2028) has six Strategic Pillars:

Our overarching objective is to increase the number of individuals engaging in badminton on a regular basis. We firmly believe that badminton is a sport that can be enjoyed by people from all walks of life in Africa, and our primary focus is to create an environment that fosters inclusivity. To achieve this, we are dedicated to establishing a wide range of accessible pathways and opportunities, ensuring that badminton is more accessible than ever before.

To enhance the quality of lives by providing captivating and immersive competitive experiences. We aim to create an environment where all players, coaches, clubs, and member associations can flourish and excel. By fostering a thriving ecosystem, we strive to empower individuals and organizations within the badminton community, enabling them to reach their full potential and contribute to the growth and success of the sport.

ELITE SUPPORT

To actively collaborate with member associations in order to nurture the next generation of badminton players. We are committed to fostering innovation and implementing impactful development initiatives for players and coaches. By doing so, we aim to empower elite players to fully unlock and optimize their exceptional potential. Our focus lies in creating an environment that cultivates growth, enabling individuals to thrive and reach new heights in their badminton journey.

FINANCIAL SUSTAINABILITY

To achieve robust financial results and establish valuable partnerships with like-minded organizations. By doing so, we aim to reinvest resources into our organization, specifically towards promoting grassroots opportunities and encouraging greater participation in badminton.
