| Weather in Horsens | Current conditions in Horsens are cool, at about 8°C and mostly cloudy. For the meeting period, daytime temperatures are expected to be around 10°C–13°C, with cooler mornings and evenings around 3°C–5°C. |
| Recommended Clothing | Please travel with layered clothing, a warm jacket or coat, comfortable closed shoes, and an umbrella or light rain jacket. Formal business/African attire is recommended for the AGM. |
| Accommodation | African delegates are accommodated at Pejsegaarden Hotel. |
| Transport | Transport is available between Pejsegaarden Hotel, Scandic Opus Hotel and Comwell Bygholm Park Hotel. Please also use the Badminton Denmark QR code behind your accreditation for transport and social event information around you. An information desk is available at the hotel from 07:00 to 19:00 from 20 to 28 April. |
| Currency | The local currency is the Danish Krone (DKK). Cards are widely accepted in Denmark, though it is advisable to keep a small amount of cash for incidental expenses. |
| Electricity and Charging | Denmark uses 230V / 50Hz electricity. The most common plug types are type E and type K. Delegates are advised to carry a suitable travel adapter for their electronic devices. |

| Connectivity | Mobile roaming may be costly depending on your service provider. Delegates who expect significant data usage may wish to purchase a local SIM card or eSIM upon arrival. |
| Travel Reminders | Carry your valid passport, visa, travel insurance, return ticket, hotel details and invitation letters in both printed and digital form. Keep any prescription medication in your hand luggage together with the relevant prescription. Please keep your baggage tags and travel receipts, remain reachable on phone or message upon arrival, and inform the BCA Secretariat immediately of any change to your travel arrangements. |
