The Badminton Confederation Africa (BCA) is pleased to announce the 8th BCA Para Badminton Workshop, to be held from 4-6 July 2026 in Kampala, Uganda.
The workshop will consist of:
Member Associations are invited to nominate up to two (2) coaches (one male and one female). Please note that only one coach per country maximum will be selected based on the following criteria:
Selection Criteria – Coach
- Minimum of 5 years active coaching experience.
- Involvement in Para Badminton training and/or commitment to developing national Para Badminton programmes.
- Not older than 50 years.
- Possession of BWF Level 1 or 2coaching certification (please attach scanned copy)
- Selected candidates must be available to work with their association in the development of Para badminton for a minimum of 2 years.
BCA will support 8 -10 candidates by providing:
- Return economy air tickets for selected candidates
- Local transportation in Uganda (airport–hotel–venue)
- Accommodation and full board for the official dates (3-7 July 2026)
Participants / Member Associations Will Cover:
- Visa application and related fees.
- Travel insurance.
- Personal expenses.
