In line with the BCA Strategic Plan 2022–2028, BCA is pleased to announce the upcoming BCA Face-to-Face Shuttle Time Coordinators Meeting, which will bring together coordinators from across Africa to strengthen the implementation and impact of the Shuttle Time programme from 29 November to 01 December in Cape Town, South Africa.
The Objectives of the meeting are:
- Strengthening collaboration among national coordinators and the BCA.
- Sharing best practices and innovative approaches from across the continent.
- Enhance coordinators’ knowledge through strategic development of the BWF Shuttle Time programme nationally.
- Provide updated guidance, tools, and resources for effective programme delivery.
The participants will be selected based on the criteria below:
- Active participation in BCA webinars and annual online meetings of Shuttle Time Coordinators over the past five years.
- Effective communication and collaboration with the BCA (demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills).
- Implementation of innovative initiatives or projects to enhance Shuttle Time delivery.
- Consistent submission of the annual Shuttle Time National Planning Document over the past five years.
- Number of teachers trained, and schools involved in the programme.
- Organization of Shuttle Time School or categories tournaments (U11, U13, U15, U17).
- Active contribution to Shuttle Time activities within their country over the past three years (including Inclusion, Gender Equity, and Accountability).
- Participation of the country in the All Africa School Championships in the previous years.

Application should be submitted at the latest on 28 October 2025. Late applications will not be considered, and all applications should be endorsed by the Association. The endorsement email or letter should be sent to b.bokpe@badmintonafrica.com. Any non-endorsed application by the deadline date will also not be considered in the selection process.
BCA reserves the right to make the final selection of candidates at its discretion, applying the criteria above and taking into account regional balance and available budget.
