Invitation to Host Media Launch for the Road to LA 2028 Olympics & Paralympics
Background:
Following our unprecedented success at the recent Paris Paralympics, where we secured a bronze medal in the SL3 Category—our first in history—alongside improved overall results in badminton, BCA is calling for expression of interest for Member Associations to host a self-sponsored Media Launch. This initiative aims to leverage our achievements to rally substantial support from all our stakeholders, including media, governments, private companies, and corporations.
Objective:
The Media Launch is intended to harness our recent successes to galvanize much-needed sponsorship as we embark early on the campaign for the LA 2028 Olympics & Paralympics. We are seeking host Member Associations to facilitate this significant event. The targeted sponsorship can be either local (country-based) – aimed at supporting the Member Associations athletes who will be in the race to qualify for either the Olympics or Paralympics or regional (across Africa) aimed at sourcing a regional sponsor for all the players in the race across the continent.
BCA Support:
BCA will provide expertise to assist the hosting Member Association in planning and executing the Media Launch effectively. This will include provision professional media launch guidelines and plans to have a successful event
Action Required:
Member Associations interested in hosting this pivotal Media Launch are kindly requested to submit their proposals. Your initiative should aim to create impactful narratives that will attract substantial sponsorship and public interest, setting a robust foundation for our journey towards the LA 2028 Olympics & Paralympics.
