The BWF Shuttle Time program highlights the BWF school badminton program, which saw 11 tutors and 16 teachers from different Nigerian states participate in the the course, from 10th to 14th of November 2019. Among the 11 tutors 9 were men and 2 women , and teachers consisted of 11 Men and 5 Women.
The BWF Shuttle Time tutors and teachers course includes teaching basic badminton techniques, teaching methods, group management, different learning styles and progressive lesson plans on how to conduct classes.
Some practical activities and fun games were also part of the school badminton program. The course , also included the introduction of Air Badminton , a project of the B WF , which intends to democratise badminton across Africa , as a means to familiarise the sports to a maximum no. of people, and to compensate the lack of infrastructure in many African countries.
