Referee Appointment – Criteria

Badminton Oceania Technical Officials have updated their Referee appointment criteria for Level 4 events. Please click on the link to see which level of Referee is eligible to Referee at what type of event.


Referee criteria for appointments – Level 4

Accredited Referee Qual. & Asses. Procedure

To be accepted for assessment as an Oceania Referee, the following criteria will apply:

 

  • Accredited Referee – candidate must be a Certificated level National or Pacific Referee and have held that qualification for a minimum of two years.  All nominees must have met their National/Pacific TOC criteria for that Level in the previous 12 months. Understand and speak English fluently.

 

  • Certificated Referee – candidate must be an accredited level Oceania Referee and have held that qualification for a minimum of two years.  All nominees must have met both their National/Pacific TOC and the Oceania criteria for that level in the previous 12 months.  Understand and speak English fluently.
