Since its creation in 2019, the (elected) BCA Athletes Commission has been actively supporting, encouraging, assisting and communicating with the players community in Africa. In 2020, with the amendments made to the BCA Constitution, the Chair of the Athletes Commission was elevated as a full Council member with voting rights, in line with the Oympic Charter and BCA’s vision to put players at the centre of all decisions.
To further support our Athletes Commission in communicating and assisting players around Africa, we would request all MA you to nominate a player’s representative for your country – find attached form to complete and submit to the BCA before Friday 31st December 2021. Your player’s representative should either be an active player or a player who has recently retired.
