1) BCA Virtual AGM 2021

Thank you to all members who have attended the virtual AGM of the BCA held
yesterday Saturday 19 June 2021. The meeting went on smoothly and with
success, thanks to your support and collaboration. Following the conclusion
of the BCA Council Elections, find attached Press Release.

The voting reports, recording of meetings, minutes and other materials will
be sent to you in due course.

2) Cancellation of the Algeria International and the Algeria Junior Internationals 2021

We regret to inform you that the Algeria International 2021 (20 – 23 Oct)
and the Algeria Junior International 2021 (26 – 29 Oct) have been cancelled.
The decision was taken by the Algeria Badminton Federation in collaboration
with the BCA for COVID-19 related reasons.

3) All Africa U15 and U19 Championships in Benin

Preparations are going on well for the forthcoming All Africa U15
Championships (22 – 26 Aug) and All Africa U19 Championships (26 Aug – 1
Sep) and we shall publish the invitation during the course of the coming
week. The BCA, in close collaboration with the Benin Badminton
Association, also plans to organize 2 short training camps before the start
of each championships. We will follow up with more information in the
prospectus.

Also note that the BCA will provide support for your teams to attend the
camp and the championships.

If you intend to send a team to Benin, kindly inform us.

1) AGA virtuelle de la BCA 2021

Merci à tous les membres qui ont assisté à l’AGA virtuelle de la BCA qui
s’est tenue hier samedi 19 juin 2021. La réunion s’est très bien déroulée et
avec succès, grâce à votre soutien et votre collaboration. Suite à la
conclusion des élections du Conseil de la BCA, vous trouverez ci-joint le
communiqué de presse.

Les rapports de vote, l’enregistrement de la réunion, le procès-verbal et
autres documents vous seront envoyés incessamment.

2) Annulation de l’Open de d’Algérie et de I’Open Junior d’Algérie de 2021

Nous avons le regret de vous informer que l’open International de l’Algerie
de 2021 (20 – 23 octobre) et l’open International Junior de l’Algerie de
2021 (26 – 29 octobre) ont été annulés. La décision a été prise par la
Fédération Algérienne de Badminton, en collaboration avec le BCA, pour des
raisons liées à la COVID-19.

3) Championnats d’Afrique U15 et U19 au Benin

Les préparatifs vont bon train pour les prochains championnats Africains
U15 (22 – 26 août) et U19 (26 août – 1 septembre) et nous publierons
l’invitation officielle au cours de la semaine à venir. Le BCA, en étroite
collaboration avec la Federation Béninoise de Badminton, prévoit également
d’organiser 2 stages d’entraînement avant le début de chaque championnat.
Nous suivrons avec plus d’informations dans l’invitation.

Notez également que le BCA fournira un soutien à vos équipes pour assister
au camp et aux championnats.

Si vous avez l’intention d’envoyer une équipe au Bénin, veuillez nous en
