11 African countries, namely Benin, Botswana, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Lesotho, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia & Zimbabwe participated in the Player Pathway Programme, a 3 day course , held in Pretoria, South Africa, from 5th to 7th December 2019.
The BWF and World Academy of Sports ( WAoS) consociation project plan instigated the Player Pathway Programme, with particular focus on empowering Member Associations to understand the key elements in developing a player pathway for their organisation .
The BWF Player Pathway programme* approaches development of a player pathway systematically. This practical approach to the Player Pathway Programme allows the BWF and the BCA to work with the Member Associations (MAs) to identify and implement short, medium and long term goals over the forthcoming years.
