BWF in partnership with the AGITOS Foundation and the BCA conducted its third edition of the Para-Badminton technical workshop in Kampala Uganda; the event was hosted back to back with the Uganda Para-Badminton International.
In this year’s edition, the following 10 African Countries participated: Benin, Burundi, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda and Zimbabwe. Activities covered at the workshop included: Player development camp, Coaches workshop, National Administrators workshop, and Classification of New Para players.
Although, the Uganda Para-Badminton International saw India scoop most of the medals, several African players managed to earn medals places in the 21 events played.
