In April 2020, BCA launched the ‘Shuttle Time Teachers Grant’ (STTG) to support the national development of Shuttle Time in Africa. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing traveling restrictions, the main objective of the STTG was to support National Associations in organizing Teachers Courses nationally as per their National Planning Document.
Following the success of the grant in 2020 and with the BWF support and approval, we wish to inform you that we have reviewed the total grant (for 3 courses) to $750, instead of $600. That is, for each course organized, we will allocate an amount of $250. The grant can be used to pay for expenses related to the planning and organization of the Teachers courses and an allowance to the National Coordinator and Tutor.
Please note:
- To be eligible to receive the grant, your Association must adhere to the attached conditions and criteria.
- To apply for the grant, you need to complete a short (one page) application form at the latest 3 weeks before the start of the course. See attached form.
- In contrast to last year and base on the current situation, we will allow prefunding of the grant upon request. You will find more information in the attached criteria document.
- Female participation is mandatory – refer to the attached criteria document.
